I compose and post these articles with only one desire in my heart: to praise God and to offer modest help on your spiritual journey.

Salvific Dilemma

The saint said
"Beautiful flowers, quit telling me about God,
My soul is melting in heavenly delight!"
Then the saint turned around and saw
The blind soldier walking and limping
And said again
"Suffering man, quit telling me
About God's absence, evil, tragedy, pain!"
Then the saint
Raised his eyes toward the sky and cried out
"Why do heaven and hell have to meet
In the human heart?"
Quietly, resigned he said to himself
"Is the answer maybe in the cross
On cavalry's height?"
